About
Hi, my name is Kara Diaz I'm a professional hairstylist of 23years. My Love of hair began in 7th grade! After graduating from Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, California I returned home to Shreveport, Louisiana where I spent the majority of my career. 8 of those years I proudly owned & operated Hair Addiction Salon. In June of 2024 my family & I moved here to Beautiful New Braunfels/Canyon Lake, Texas! I specialize in all types of hair extensions from fusion/bonded, beaded, sew-in wefts & butterfly wefts. I Absolutely love the art of color from blondes, naturally highlighted/colored to cover or blend gray, & fun trendy looks. My haircuts range from short & stylish to long & flirty layers. With a background from Vidal Sassoon, I do tend to be more formed & structured to achieve the same results with each appointment. Although, I do enjoy the challenge of someone who prefers to switch up their style while maintaining the integrity & over all health of your hair. I am a Wife to an awesome husband, Mother to a spunky 9 year daughter, Stepmom to a 17 year old son, & caregiver to my Mother who suffers from Dementia. My hobbies include crafting, staying in the waters of the beautiful rivers or lake, getting tattoos, & all things crafting. I never meet a stranger & you can count on my crazy fun stories of life (I have A LOT of them!!). I will be your bestie, your therapist, your cheerleader, & your confidant!! What's said in the salon stays in the salon!! I can't wait to be your Stylist!!
